Project covers construction work at Bukha Treatment Plant

UAE-based Maritime Industrial Services Co. Ltd. Inc. (OSE: MIS) has been awarded a contract worth US$ 3mn from the Ras Al Khaimah Gas Commission (RAK Gas). The project covers mechanical construction work at the West Bukha Treatment Plant, located in Khor Khwair.

The project, which is scheduled for completion by February 2010, involves working within the brown field and its scope of work covers piping tie-ins, equipment erection, construction of structures, and coating and insulation work. This contract, the second RAK Gas contract to be awarded to MIS this year, highlights the strong relationship that MIS has enjoyed with its long-time client RAK Gas, a client for over 25 years.
